Pompe cake with walnut oil
Ingredients
- 400g bread dough already made (purchased at the bakery or supermarket)
- 15cl walnut oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- flour
- butter.
Description
Preheat oven to gas mark 6 (390°F).
Sprinkle a little flour on the board, smooth it out and roll the dough into a half-inch thick rectangle.
Install it on a lightly buttered baking sheet and push the dough with your fingertips enough to cover the baking sheet edges.
With a sharp knife, create a crisscross pattern on the dough. Mix in a bowl the egg yolks with the sugar. Add walnut oil and pour the mixture onto the dough.
Bake 30 minutes in the oven. Serve warm.
