Refund policy

At Baron & Chassaing, your satisfaction is our priority. If a product doesn't suit you or if you encounter a problem with your order, here is everything you need to know.

Your right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision or pay any penalties, with the exception of return costs.

This period runs from the day following the date of receipt of your order.

To exercise this right, simply inform us of your decision via our contact page.

Return conditions

To be accepted, returned products must be:

  • complete, in their original packaging;
  • unopened and unused;
  • in perfect condition (not damaged, soiled or broken);
  • accompanied by their delivery documents.

For hygiene and food safety reasons, food products that have been opened or partially consumed cannot be returned.

How to return a product

  1. Inform us of your wish to make a return via our contact page, providing your surname, first name, address, order date and order number.
  2. Carefully pack your products in their original packaging, together with the delivery documents.
  3. Send your parcel to the following address:

Return costs are your responsibility, unless we explicitly offer to cover them. We recommend using a tracked shipping service: the products travel under your responsibility until they are received at our warehouse.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and checked, we will issue your refund within a maximum of 14 days.

The refund is made to your original payment method: bank card, PayPal or Apple Pay.

Defective, damaged or non-conforming products

All our products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity provided for in Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

If you receive a broken or defective product, or one that does not match your order, please contact us via our contact page, describing the problem in detail and including photos.

After verification, we will offer you an exchange or a refund of the product concerned. In this case, the return and reshipping costs are entirely covered by us.

Order preparation errors

If a product is missing from your parcel, it will be reshipped or refunded at our expense. If you have received a product you did not order, we will arrange its return, also at our expense.

In both cases, please report the problem via our contact page.

Lost parcels

If the carrier has lost your parcel, we undertake to reship your order at our expense. We will simply ask you for a sworn statement of non-receipt, which will allow us to file a claim with the carrier.

If the second shipment also fails to arrive, we will issue a full refund of your order.
