Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Crete PDO Peza 250ml
A touch of freshness that brings fish, vegetables, and starches back to life
In the heart of Crete, in the region of Peza, where mountains touch the clouds, extra virgin olive oil has been produced since the Minoan era, over 5,000 years ago. The region's rich soil, high altitude conditions, and suitable microclimate are ideal for olive cultivation. This Cretan savoir-faire, acquired through experience and exchange, is reflected in this PDO Peza, where respect for the environment and traceability guarantee the excellence of this passionate producer's work. This oil is delicately mild and fruity, and its aroma reveals a subtle peppery touch that is pleasantly surprising.
Herbaceous Selection: Cold-pressed oil from Koroneiki olives harvested early in the season and immediately pressed. On the palate, a low bitterness and light pungency. Long-lasting and well-distinguished vegetable aromas (artichoke, tomato, tomato plant, green banana…). To be used especially with raw vegetables (tomato, cauliflower, carrot…), green salads, fatty fish, white meats, and starches (potatoes, pasta, rice…).
